Service Learning Presentations

W.11-12.5 Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects to answer a question (including a self-generated question) or solve a problem; narrow or broaden the inquiry when appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on the subject, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation.

Starter

Get with your group members to finalize your presentation. 
Make sure to include:
problem and solution
The SMART goal
Action Plan
Map of Project
Any visuals and data to support your ideas.

Activity: What components do you think is the most important in an action plan?

Activity 

1.  Presentations

Each group will present their ideas to the class. 
Pay attention to the plan to consider what is the most important and realistic for us to do as a class.

2.  Voting

Individually, vote on the issue that you would like to focus on as a class. 

3.  Class Discussion

How is this issue our responsibility as part of the community?
How will we help the community be addressing this issue?
What concerns do we have moving forward?
What are we looking forward to doing?

Closure

Which presentation, in your opinion,  demonstrated the need with the highest priority?
